Abstract

Abstract

Isidore’s language has been studied from the phonetic, morphological and syntactic point of view. The vision offered in this article is different. From the textual analysis of several Isidorian works belonging to different genres, and the comparison of some of them with previous and subsequent texts, we have tried to abstract the characteristics of the Isidorian prose, without taking into account the higher or lower degree of the accepted grammatical correction.

The conclusion, as is usual in this kind of syntactical studies, affects the discourse composition.
