Godfrey of Viterbo (1120-1190) on his Pantheon includes a story of the Goths and of the Asturian kings taken from the Cronica Profetica and from the Albeldense, wihch leads us to study the manuscript that he used as basis, to correct wrong readings by Godfrey himself and his editor, and to analyse the only piece of news that does not come from the source he copies.
