Abstract

Abstract

The aim of the article is to discuss the “dossier“ of Nestaneteretten ( IX, 7112c), daughter of Ahmose and Taukesh. She was a sistrum-player of Amun-Ra in the temple of Karnak at the beginning of Ptolemaic times; at least, this is the most adequate era indicated by her funerary equipment assembled from different Egyptian collections. Among the objects belonging to Nestaneteretten are a stela with a “God’s decree“, a Ptah-Sokar-Osiris statue, a one-piece-cartonnage, a hypocephalus, and a Book of the Dead papyrus. The study is dedicated to the analysis of the objects.
