Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to introduce several fragments of carved stone elements dated to the Middle Ages, found in the area of northwestern Croatia (Varaždin County). In this study, fragments of sculptures or architectural decoration are analyzed, and some of them are now published for the first time. The examples provide an important addition to material from continental Croatia that belongs to the Middle Ages, although analogies are difficult to find within Croatia.
