Abstract

Abstract

The only prose fragments by a female author in classical Roman literature to have survived are two fragments from a letter or two letters by Cornelia, the mother of Tiberius and Caius Sempronius Gracchus. This article explores the presence of these fragments in MS 9884-89 of KBR, the Royal Library of Belgium and presents a new edition of these unique fragments based on the Brussels copy.
