Abstract

Abstract

The article analyzes the Heideggerian notion of Ereignis from the point of view of the fourfold resonance of this distinctive word, which indicates both four meanings and four moments of thought. Subsequently, the essay proposes to approach the Ereignis to the theme of the Fourfold as the gathering of earth, sky, mortals and divinities, suggesting not only the cruciality of the language of the Fourfold for thinking about the Ereignis, but also showing in which way Heidegger himself expressly underlines this cruciality.
