Incoherencias del Waltharius: Reyes, Héroes y Antihéroes. La Leyenda y la Historia

This article analyses and points out some of the inconsistencies between the true history and the one depicted in the text of the Waltharius concerning some of the facts and characters of the poem. In each case, it attempts to explain that such inconsistencies are related to the interweaving of oral traditions and also to the determination imposed by the political and cultural power at the time of the creation of the work.
