From the middle of the sixteenth to the beginning of the seventeenth century, several types of Swiss silver coins became an important part of the money circulation in Bohemia. The influx of Swiss coins into this territory was considered by the-then domestic economists and politicians to be one of the reasons for the rapidly rising prices.
