This paper debates a recent publication (, edited by Luciana Furbetta and Celine Urlacher-Becht, 2020), focusing on the categories of ‘place’ and ‘enlargement’ as potential exegetic vectors to investigate the most relevant renovation factors of the epigrammatic genre during the Late Antiquity (especially in Vandalic, Gallic and Italian context).
