Abstract

Abstract

Every attempt to vocalize the Aramaic Bible is a challenging task, yet at the same time stimulating. In this article, the Syriac texts of both Amos and Jonah are presented here fully vocalized according to the western system and with the indications of rukkökhö and quååöyö within the context itself. It is forseen, moreover, that the publication of the Syriac texts of the Minor Prophets will soon follow in the near future.
