The purpose of this article is to present to the Italian-speaking reader the exegetical interpretation of the entire book of Ruth made by a native-speaking medieval scholar who knew the biblical text and the holy language in a masterly manner. The attentive reader will realize that several interpretations of Ibn Ezra remain relevant to this day.
