Contrastive jw.jr, Conditional jw.jr, Temporal jw.jr: On Separating a Demotic Siamese Triplet

Two new unambiguous examples of this mechanism from Late Egyptian (KRI I,12,13-14 and I,103,10,12) are cited at p. 38.

The current location of these two oyster shells since their discovery during the excavations by J. Garstang in 1905-06 was unknown until D. Downes tracked down and identified National Museums Liverpool, World Museum 1977.110.1 almost seventy years later. IMJ 76.19.198 was identified by the author. These two shells were not listed in the study of H. Winlock, so two new oyster shells can now be added to the list of well-documented excavations. This article reviews their known archaeological contexts.

In place of the canonic iconography of the solar barques in the day sky, plants with umbels are depicted at the sides of the register. One of the two plants shows, joined to the central stem, a bar with a canine head on top. Such an uncommon pictographic representation is presumably a cryptographic composition with symbolic significance.
