This paper analyzes the evolution of the neuter gender in Late Latin, focusing on the development from the classical plural agreement ending in - (eg. ) to the plural feminine form ending in - (eg. st.It. ). I will further support that the Neapolitan variety is extremely conservative, by providing the first in-depth account of the (tenth century) and analyzing the morphological and morphosyntactic characteristics of the collected forms.
