Edition and commentary are preceded by a critical review of previous suggestions about the authorship and/or date of the fragment, and followed from the author’s conclusions about the date: fragment a is probably Hellenistic; the date of b and c is uncertain. There are insufficient grounds for establishing the identity of the author.
