Abstract

Abstract

The three poems adscribed to Martin of Braga present some interesting features in the context of 6th century poetry. The aim of this article is to outline the main features of their metrical and prosodic technique, as well as to point out their obvious relationship with merovigian Gaul. The presents some differences at a metrical level which, together with their content, might lead us to revise the traditional authorship.
