Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Time is one of the main components of Jean-Philippe Toussaint’s literary work. Simultaneously, the theme of light has always occupied, as he explicitly stated in , “a central place in [his] work”. With these two features as the starting points of this analysis, we examine the particular ways in which they are articulated within the tetralogy , in order to identify the resulting logic of imagination.
