The Journal of Medieval Monastic Studies is managed under the auspices of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and the Universitat de Lleida. It is an annual, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed publication featuring articles on issues related to medieval monastic studies. It includes scholarly contributions on monastic history, archaeology, architectural history, art history, literature, theology, and more. It is a comprehensive publication, covering all of medieval Europe in geographical terms. The journal also publishes relevant book reviews and shorter notices. The language of publication is English but abstracts in the original language of individual contributions may be included.
