Questo articolo indaga i rapporti tra la teologia di Clemente Alessandrino e la sua filosofia nello relativo alla dottrina dell’anima di Clemente. Saranno utilizzate le categorie della psicologia platonica come tornasole degli argomenti e relativi campi di ricerca ancora aperti. La prospettiva dell’Autore, in merito al tema dell’anima, è risultato degli studi di Heinrich Dörrie e della sua scuola.

Abstract

This article explores, in the of Clement of Alexandria’s doctrine of the soul, the relationship between Clements’s theology and his philosophy. Categories of Platonic psychology (proctology, ethics, and eschatology) are used as a litmus test of topics and fields of research still open to investigation. The author’s perspective on the subject of the soul derives from studies by Heinrich Dories and his scholars.
