Publication de quatre inscriptions inédites, prélevées illégalement sur des sites antiques de la région du Jawf (Yémen), dont une date du e s. av. J.-C., deux du e s. av. J.-C. et une du e s. av. J.-C. env. Cette dernière, as-Sawdāʾ 97, constitue le premier témoignage de l’entrée de la ville de Nashshān (aujourd’hui as-Sawdāʾ) dans la sphère sabéenne, après avoir été d’abord autonome (e-vie s. av. J.-C.) puis intégrée dans le royaume de Maʿīn (e-e s. av. J.-C.).

Abstract

Publication of four unpublished inscriptions illegally retrieved from ancient sites in the Jawf region (Yemen), one of which dates from the 8th century , two from the 7th century , and one from the 3rd century approx. The latter, as-Sawdāʾ 97, constitutes the first evidence of the entry of the city of Nashshān (now as-Sawdāʾ) into the Sabaean sphere, after a period of autonomy (8th-6th century ), and its integration into the kingdom of Maʿīn (5th-3rd century ).
