Eros and Astrology in the Περίοδοι Πέτρου. The Sense of the Pseudo-Clementine Novel

This article presents the only ancient Christian novel that has survived, the Pseudo-Clementines. It reviews previous scholarship and argues that the topic of astrology is the key to both the structure of the novel and its title.

Cet article présente le seul roman chrétien ancien qui ait subsisté, les Pseudo-Clémentines. Il passe en revue les recherches antérieures et soutient la thèse que la topique astrologique est la clé aussi bien de la structure du roman que de son titre.
