Judaïsme Ancien / Ancient Judaism
Revue internationale d’histoire et de philologie / International Journal of History and Philology
Judaïsme Ancien combines historical and philological perspectives with a strong interdisciplinary focus. Its scope encompasses literature, archaeology, epigraphy, culture, religion, and sociology, spanning the 6th century BCE to the 9th century CE. This journal aims to characterize the interactions (relationships, specificities, distinctions, acculturations) between Rabbinic Judaism, Christian Judaism, and early Islam, encompassing a broad spectrum without being exclusive. It is the only international journal dedicated to the historical and philological study of ancient Judaism published in French. However, it also accepts contributions in English, German, and Italian.
