Abstract

Un manuscrit du xve siècle retrouvé par un particulier contient un long texte dont l'existence était jusqu'à présent inconnue. Il s'agit d'un traité rédigé en 1352-1353 par le théologien et visionnaire franciscain Jean de Roquetaillade, alors emprisonné à Avignon. Cette œuvre en seize parties () est construite comme une réplique à l'avis rendu par François de Meyronnes en 1325, à propos d'articles extraits par Jean XXII de la de Pierre de Jean Olivi, avis dont on ne connaissait pas davantage l'existence.

Abstract

A fifteenth-century manuscript in private hands contains a long text that was unknown until now. It is a treatise written in 1352-1353 by the Franciscan theologian and visionary Jean de Roquetaillade during his imprisonment in Avignon. The work, in sixteen parts (), is constructed like a response to the opinion given by François de Meyronnes in 1325, concerning the articles extracted by Jean XXII from the by Pierre de Jean Olivi, an opinion the existence of which is otherwise unknown.
