Cet article passe en revue la tradition manuscrite du commentaire d’Alexandre d’Aphrodise à la Métaphysique d’Aristote (livres I-V), examinée de manière très lacunaire dans des éditions précédentes. En proposant un stemma codicum, il pose les fondements pour un nouvel établissement du texte.

The present article investigates the manuscript tradition of Alexander’s commentary on Aristotle’s Metaphysics (books I-V), which has been taken into account very inadequately in previous editions of the text. It provides a stemma codicum and lays the basis for a new critical edition of the text.
