Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Servius’s commentary on 1.37-2.10 is lost. Part of the manuscript tradition and the edition of Thilo made up for this lacuna with the corresponding Philargyrian commentary. The dating and cultural of this interpolation are considered in this article. Other interpolations introduced by some manuscripts in this section of Servius’s commentary are also examined.
