f La transmisión latina de los Aforismos hipocráticos en el códice Paris, BNF, latin 11218

Cet article présente l’édition critique d’un groupe d’aphorismes hippocratiques traduits en latin et transmis par le codex Paris, BNF, latin 11218 (viii-ix^e s.). Quelques-uns d’entre eux appartiennent à la huitième section et sont identifiés pour la première fois. Au préalable, on décrit le manuscrit et on cherche à déceler les critères qui président à l’organisation de son contenu. À cet égard, on constate que les nombreux textes médicaux qu’on y trouve sont le résultat de deux projets différents au départ. On fait remarquer que la plupart des textes de ce codex ont été remaniés et qu’il y en a qui ne sont que des extraits tirés de plusieurs sources. On compare le texte édité avec la traduction latine des Aphorismes faite pendant l’Antiquité tardive, probablement à Ravenne ; certaines différences concernant la compréhension du texte grec laissent penser qu’on a affaire à deux traductions indépendantes l’une de l’autre. Plusieurs aspects historiques, linguistiques et de critique textuelle font l’objet du commentaire qui fait suite à l’édition des aphorismes.

This paper presents the critical edition of a group of Hippocratic aphorisms translated into Latin and contained in the codex Paris, BNF, latin 11218 (8^th-9^th c.). Some of them belong to Section 8 and are identified for the first time. In an introductory section, the manuscript is described and an attempt is made to identify the criteria that determine the organization of its content. It is observed that the numerous medical texts found in this manuscript seem to result from two initially different projects, and that most of the texts in this manuscript have been modified, some of them being compilations of extracts from various sources. The edited text is compared with the Late Antique version of the Aphorisms, considered as originating in Ravenna. Some differences in the interpretation of the Greek text suggest that these are two different translations. Several historical, linguistic and textual aspects are the subject of the commentary that follows the edition of the aphorisms.
